The slogan is an in-group signal, not a joke
“You wouldn’t understand” is not aimed at the reader. It is aimed at the one person in the room who does — another welder, another Shiba Inu owner, another person who has spent a whole Saturday at a paintball site. The shirt is a handshake between people who share something specific.

When not to buy one of these
Three cases, and they come up more than you would think:
- They took it up this year. The slogan claims years of accumulated in-jokes. On a three-month-old hobby it reads as a nudge rather than a nod.
- It is their job and they are trying to leave it. A shirt naming the job is a good gift for someone who likes the work and a tin-eared one for someone who does not.
- You are guessing at the narrow version. Guessing the breed wrong is worse than staying broad, and staying broad is already the weaker choice. Ask instead.
Practical notes
- Printed to order — allow two to three weeks. These are not stocked items sitting in a warehouse.
- Cuts vary by subject. Some subjects have a hoodie or a tank as well as the tee; each subject page lists what exists for that one, so check there rather than assuming.
